Kannath family is an ancient 'Roman Catholic' (RC) family under 'St.Mary's Forane Church, in Thrissur diocese in Kerala. The family has branches in Kalamasseri and Palarivattam in Ernamkulam district, Kuriachira,Kanjani,Chittattukara,Elthuruth, and Vengidangu in Thrissur district, Angadippuram, and Palakkodu in Malappuram district,Koppam in Palakkad district, Bangaloru, Mumbai, and Qatar.Vadakkethala Kannath family association with its head quarters in Kandassamkadavu is established in 2009 under the patronage of Very Rev.
